MembraLink is operated by WENS (NANTONG) BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD., a company registered in Nantong, Jiangsu, China.
This notice applies to personal information handled through membralink.com, our RFQ process, business email and related direct business communications.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Name, company, business email, telephone or WhatsApp contact
- Organisation type, destination market and business role
- Membrane application, installed model or project duty
- Indicative quantity, timeline, required documents and acceptance criteria
- Messages, clarifications and files you later choose to send through an agreed channel
Information generated during the enquiry
- RFQ status, evidence requests, response history and commercial follow-up
- Notes needed to coordinate supplier, technical, trade and buyer decisions
- Transaction, shipping, payment and support records if business proceeds
Technical information
Website infrastructure may process IP address, browser, device, page request, timestamp, referrer and security signals needed to deliver, protect and measure the site.
Do not use the initial RFQ form for secrets: Do not submit passwords, bank credentials, national identification numbers, export-controlled files, full confidential agreements or information you do not have permission to share. See our data handling guidance.
3. Why we use the information

- Confirm service fit and request missing information
- Coordinate supplier evidence, samples, documents, terms and buyer decisions
- Prepare, negotiate and perform a requested transaction or service
- Maintain security, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and comply with legal duties
- Understand aggregate website use and improve the enquiry journey
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on steps you request before a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate business interests, compliance with law or consent for an optional use. We do not sell personal information or use RFQ details to build advertising profiles.
5. How long we retain information
Inactive enquiries that do not become a transaction are normally deleted or anonymised within 24 months after the last meaningful business contact.
If an enquiry becomes a qualification project or transaction, relevant records may be retained for the relationship and then for the period reasonably needed for contracts, tax, shipping, claims, warranty, dispute prevention and applicable legal duties. Technical attachments are reviewed separately and should be removed when they are no longer needed.
We may retain a minimal suppression record when necessary to honour a request not to be contacted.
6. Security and confidentiality
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational controls designed to limit access, protect communications and reduce unauthorised disclosure. Controls are selected according to the sensitivity and stage of the enquiry.
Security measures reduce risk but cannot eliminate it. Send higher-sensitivity technical or commercial information only after the receiving channel, intended recipients and purpose have been agreed.
7. Website analytics and external links
The site may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic, page use and technical performance. We do not use this service to build advertising profiles from RFQ visitors.
Links to LinkedIn, Facebook, X, WhatsApp or other external services are governed by those services when you choose to visit them. Their privacy practices are outside this notice.
8. Your choices and requests
Depending on your location, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent. These rights can be subject to identity verification, legal exceptions and records we must retain.
To make a request, email info@membralink.com with the company, email address and enquiry needed to identify the relevant record. We may ask for additional information to prevent unauthorised disclosure.
Our services are directed to business users and are not intended for children.
